Your Travel Experience with Finest Journeys
The Beauty of Jeju Island
Today, you will continue to explore Jeju island. Your guide will take to your first stop in another natural site, Bijarim Forest. This Forest is the perfect opportunity to go for a stroll along the peaceful walking trail, and to take in the thousands of nutmeg trees that call it home. Next, discover ancient Korean life with the Seongeup Folk Village. Just like other Folk Villages you will have visited previously, this is a great way to explore the past of Korea and how people lived centuries ago with the thatched houses and stone walls, and is home to descendants of the original village residents who continue traditions to this day. You will then be taken to Seongsan Sunrise Peak, a beautiful hotspot to take in the beauty of Jeju Island. A popular UNESCO Site to watch the sunrise, though you may not have the chance to experience this, it is still a breath-taking place at any time of the day. This park offers a panoramic view of the coast and surrounding landscape, and is home to diverse plant life and volcanic rock formations. The final stop on your day tour will be at Jeju Stone Park. This outdoor museum is particularly fascinating with its stone sculptures, lava formations, and dolmens that are featured along a walking trail. Both peaceful and informative, you will learn about the history, folklore and unique volcanic environment of Jeju. At the end of the day, your guide will drive you back to your hotel for the evening.
