Approximately 40,000 visitors share meals every day. A peek into the kitchen is a unique experience. 11.00 hrs: Depart for a tour of Old Delhi. Old Delhi 11.30 hrs: Drive past the mighty Red Fort and visit Jama Masjid, the largest practicing mosque in Asia. 12.00 hrs: Start a guided street food tour in the by-lanes of Chandni Chowk at Old Delhi. Our food trail begins with Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, which is one of the oldest and most iconic Sikh shrines in Delhi. From there, our food walk will commence with delicious local savoury snacks and chaat served with sweet, sour, tangy and spicy all at the same time chutneys. Moving on, we will be entering one of the busiest and famous streets of Chandni Chowk, which serves parathas: deep fried Indian bread with the stuffing of your choice along with perfect accompaniments. A bite of jalebi and kulfi will offer a taste of traditional Indian sweets. End the walk with an amazing hot cup of masala chai. 15.00 hrs: Later visit Khari Baoli - Asia's largest Spice Market in Old Delhi. Enjoy a ride on “cycle rickshaws” through the lanes of Chandni Chowk. 16.00 hrs: Return to the hotel.
