Los Glaciares Boat Trip
Los Glaciares National Park features a breathtaking mix of forests, lakes, mountains, ice, and steppes, with over 200 glaciers. Among the most famous are Spegazzini, towering 135 meters above sea level; Upsala, stretching 765 sq km across an entire valley; and Perito Moreno, known for its continuous movement and dramatic ice ruptures. Glaciares Gourmet offers a full-day journey through this remarkable landscape aboard the María Turquesa cruise. Combining comfort with exceptional cuisine, the experience provides an unforgettable way to explore the region. After hotel pickup, transfer to the pier to board M/V Crucero Turquesa. The cruise heads northwest across Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo, the lake’s narrowest passage at just 800 meters. Sailing south, it enters the Spegazzini Channel, where towering ice walls rise between 80 and 135 meters above the water. At Las Vacas Station, passengers disembark for a guided trek to observe local flora, fauna, and the historic Settlers’ Station. Continuing through the Upsala Channel, the route leads to Herminita Peninsula, offering sweeping glacier views. Lunch is served on board while navigating toward the Canal de los Témpanos for a stunning perspective of Perito Moreno Glacier. The journey concludes at La Soledad private port, with transfers back to the hotel.
