Korcula Island BIke tour
In the morning, after breakfast, you’ll head to the beautiful island of Korčula, famous for its excellent wine and olive oil and rich history dating from ancient times. The trip includes transportation by car and a 15- minute ferry ride. The biggest town on Korčula island bears the same name and is another beautiful historical town surrounded by towers and walls. Building outside the town’s walls was forbidden until the 18th century, so Korčula is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean, looking like a fortified city from afar. After a walking tour of the town with a local guide, you will hop on a bike to explore the interior of the island, with a stop in a famous local winery for wine tasting and lunch. Korčula is especially known for its superb white wines – Pošip and Grk.
