Flight to the Osa Peninsula

Today you will travel to one of the most beautiful places on the planet; the Osa Peninsula. Located on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, the Osa Peninsula is home to 2.5% of the world’s biodiversity and is one of the last remaining tropical-humid rainforests on the planet. You will be collected from your hotel for transfer to the airport, where you will board the flight to Puerto Jimenez, located on the Southern Pacific Coast. Puerto Jimenez is the gateway into the wild and beautiful Osa Peninsula as well as the Corcovado National Park, recognized by the National Geographic Society as "one of the most biologically intense places on Earth." From Puerto Jimenez you’ll travel by 4x4 crossing some rivers until you arrive at the El Remanso Eco-Lodge in the heart of this incredible natural haven. This comfortable eco-lodge is a destination in itself and sits on the southern side of the Osa Peninsula, surrounded by 75 acres (30 hectares) of private primary tropical rainforest with fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean. Bordering the renowned Corcovado National Park, the lodge holds the highest sustainable tourism rating in the country. Its commitment to ethical practices is impeccable—one of the many reasons we love it. Another is the sense of complete relaxation and renewal you’ll experience during your stay. With a variety of immersive outdoor excursions, your days will be filled with adventure, while evenings offer the perfect blend of exceptional dining and the serene tranquility of the lodge’s peaceful setting.
