Today you have the unique opportunity of a cookery class with "Alice through the year", a small cookery school run from a cottage kitchen in the beautiful Cotswold village of Beckford. Alice, a professionally trained chef runs cookery workshops to share her passion for cooking simple but delicious seasonal food. There is nothing more quintessentially British than Afternoon Tea. In this workshop you will learn how to create the perfect afternoon tea. You will learn the secrets to scone perfection as well mastering the art of sponges & shortbreads. After your hard work your tea time treats will be served with sandwiches and a selection of loose leaf teas on a crisp white table cloth laid with beautiful antique bone china. An afternoon tea fit for the Queen herself.
