Visit Esporao estate privately, at 3 PM, and enjoy an insightful olive oil and wine tasting. Your final leg of the day is Evora, the capital of the Alentejo province.

After having a wonder round the medieval town of Monsaraz, enjoy a wine and oil tasting at the famous Herdade do Esporao. The history of the estate goes back 700 years, being first established in 1267. Today, the winery hosts three historic monuments on its estate: a medieval Tower, the Bow & the Chapel and Finagra. The tower is particularly impressive, built in 1457 by Morgado Álvaro Mendes de Vasconcelos, a knight in the household of the Duke of Bragança and governor of the Roman city of Évora.
