A Full Day of Exploring Rhodes
After your hotel pick-up, begin the day with a scenic drive through modern Rhodes, passing notable landmarks such as the Mandraki Esplanade, the government buildings, and the Church of Annunciation, built in 1925. On the way, you’ll pass by several picturesque villages, eventually reaching one of Rhodes’ most famous towns. Lindos is renowned for its Acropolis, perched 535 feet above the village, offering stunning views of the medieval castle, sandy beaches, and whitewashed houses. The area is also significant for its religious history, with a small chapel dedicated to Apostle Paul at St. Paul’s Bay, where he is said to have stopped during his travels. In Lindos, take a walking tour through the narrow cobbled streets, exploring its colorful courtyards and mosaics. After visiting the Acropolis, descend to the village to see the Byzantine Church of the Ascension before returning to your hotel.
